Prophecy for the Decade: Don’t Fear; Stay and Prosper

Wars, rumors of wars, Corona virus, economic woes, political uncertainty… all these things scream at us to act out of fear. I don’t know how many times God’s Word has told us, “do not fear,” but it’s a bunch, and it still applies. So in this blog post, I’m going to share a prophetic word that God has revealed to me about this coming decade to help you know how to live and not be afraid.

A friend of mine is fond of quoting Amos, saying, “I am not a prophet or the son of a prophet” as a sort of disclaimer. And I almost want to start with a similar statement of my own human inadequacy to receive, interpret, and apply what God is speaking to me. I do not claim anything like infallibility, but I have heard from God on this and I have received several confirmations on some of the points below. I am practicing the prophetic, and I am partnering with other ministries to receive correction and mentoring. But this is the first word on this level I have received, so I know what I saw, but I am cautiously optimistic about my interpretation of some of the details. I will start with a general word of wisdom that I received that is true in every season but that the Holy Spirit applied especially to the visions He has given me. Then I will outline the revelation, interpretation and application of it.

One small note of caution: this word has a number of warnings in it. These should not be construed as end-times doomsday pronouncements. Instead, I believe God is providing correction to a world system gone off the rails and activation to His people. The same God who would have spared Sodom and Gomorrah if only ten righteous people had been there has found a substantial remanent of righteous people in His church, and He wants to see how far they are willing to take it. This is not the apocalypse; think of it as setting the stage for bonus rounds.

I was reading Genesis 26 the other day, and here is an excerpt of that passage:

There was another famine in the land in addition to the one that had occurred in Abraham’s time. And Isaac went to…Gerar. 2 The LORD appeared to him and said, “Do not go down to Egypt… 3 stay in this land as a foreigner, and I will be with you and bless you. For I will…confirm the oath that I swore to your father Abraham… 6 So Isaac settled in Gerar… 12 Isaac sowed seed in that land, and in that year he reaped a hundred times what was sown. The LORD blessed him, 13 and the man became rich and kept getting richer until he was very wealthy. 14 He had flocks of sheep, herds of cattle, and many slaves, and the Philistines were envious of him.

Genesis 26:1-14 (CSB)

I believe Isaac’s behavior in this chapter was the high point of his trust relationship with God, and it serves as an example for God’s people in every age. God’s blessing outflanks famine. God’s blessing overrules economic downturns. His children do not have to be subject to the same woes the world dreads. He takes care of His own. This is always true.

But as I meditated on this early in January of this year, I perceived that there was trouble ahead for America and the world. When it comes we need to react with grace and courage like Isaac, not fear and envy like the world. God reminded me of another prophetic vision He had given me last September where I saw very clearly the Statue of Liberty with a gauze bandage over her right eye. It was evident she had suffered a serious blow. Then immediately I saw a hand holding up a metal crescent to the sun so the light shone through it. I noticed it was very thin and instead of being smooth on the inside it was worn away with lots of notches. I heard a word describing it that I at first thought was “caliper,” then I realized it was “caliphate.”

A few nights later, I was meditating again, and got a picture of two swords, the nearer one was curved like an Arabic cutlass or a scimitar. The farther one, right next to it was a straight sword like a European blade. The swords were crossed and thrust into the ground.

My brief interpretation of these three pictures is that 1) I believe there will be a partially successful attack on American liberty in the near future, 2) the attack will be related to the Islamic caliphate (ISIS), but through this 3) the conflict between the east and the west will be brought to an end. When I asked the Lord for a timeframe for this conflict, I heard it would be by the end of April 2020. As I meditated, I became certain that unlike 911, the attack would not be fully successful and the damage will not be nearly as bad as was intended. I believe this will be a wake-up call for America and the world. This event will facilitate several other things that need to happen on the world stage.

I wrote back in January that the impeachment process would be derailed and President Trump vindicated and reelected for a second term. Love him or hate him, President Trump is God’s Cyrus leader for today, and God is using him to accomplish His work regardless of his character or desires. However, we have not yet seen the tremendous political fallout for those who oppose the President. I fear it will be messy.

Back in July, on the eve of my trip to Turkey, a friend told me she saw a vision of winds from the southeast blowing across the desert and blowing away the sand, revealing a beautiful pattern beneath. I got to see a glimpse of this wind in the form of powerful believers from Iran who are shaping the Middle East from within. The wind is the underground church leaders who bear the Spirit moving in the Arab world. Iran is on the verge of civil war, Syria is in shambles. But the move of the Spirit in these severely persecuted believers will connect them to leaders in their countries and revival will break out at the highest levels revealing the gold God has hidden there. The underground church needs to have no fear when they face persecution or even imprisonment, because God will use every circumstance to bring His gold to light. The Spirit wind is God’s alternative to civil war in these nations. Instead it will be an Arab Spring of Living Water.

I believe that as the caliphate reaches out to harm Israel and the United States, it will fold from within—not from a political upheaval but from spiritual reformation of its people. The evil that is working through the top levels of the caliphate will be exposed to everyone within Islam. This is the meaning of the second picture of the crescent eroded on the inside and held up to the sun.

I believe the wind of the Spirit coming from Iran will spill over into Iraq, Turkey, and Syria. From a news source last year I heard that there was a quiet revolution happening in Iran, especially among the women. Mosques are emptying and people were coming to Christ in huge numbers. Iranian authorities are imprisoning as many Christians as they can, but from within prison they are winning the other prisoners, the guards, and the administration to Christ! I met some of these women, and I can tell you, they are unstoppable. Healing evangelism is breaking out, and it will spread to the highest levels of government. As Robby Dawkins has said, now is the time for Christians to stop thinking of Islam as a threat and to begin seeing Muslims as an opportunity for the Gospel—the largest mission field in history. This will be the majority of the billion soul harvest that prophet Bob Jones prophesied about for several decades.

Revival in the Middle East will bring about the third picture, the crossed swords stuck in the sand. The warring forces of east and west will put down their swords, and there will be a time of great peace ahead. I believe this will start within five years from now. The next five years will be filled with conflict, fear, and upheaval. Many of the systems and powers that have operated for centuries beneath the surface of world politics and even the church will be exposed and discredited. They will not give up easily, and it will be very ugly. But if the church will lay aside the political spirit that many have taken up, especially since the last election, peace and prosperity will come.

God revealed from Genesis 26 to me that in the troubled time ahead we are to stay in the land, plant, and harvest. People on the run cannot enjoy harvests. Many will panic and run because of fear, “but the people who know their God will be strong and take action.” (Daniel 11:32b, CSB). Issac stayed in Caanan as God instructed, planted in a year of famine, and he reaped a 100-fold harvest, which was good even for a good year. He had enough to feed a whole nation, and this resulted in a huge wealth transfer from the starving Philistines to the well-fed son of the promise. This same wealth transfer will happen from the unfaithful to those who trust their Protector and Provider God.

Over the next five years there will be many panics. People will see conspiracies everywhere. But as Isaiah 8:12-13 says, “Do not call everything a conspiracy these people say is a conspiracy. Do not fear what they fear; do not be terrified. You are to regard only the Lord of Armies as holy. Only he should be feared; only he should be held in awe.” (CSB). Many even in the church will cut and run. God is using a sharp sword to draw His line in the sand. He will use these events to clearly separate those who follow Him from those who don’t. People will not be judged by what they claim, they will reap from the actions they sow during the time of fear. Stay in the land. Do not run away. Plant, because a great harvest is coming!

During the panic following whatever happens in April, I believe real estate prices will plunge. National banking systems will experience upheaval. Those whose kingdoms are in this world will be utterly terrified, even many in the church will fear. But people who have a steady eye and liquid assets ready-to-hand will be able to buy those properties and will profit tremendously. Gaining real estate is the equivalent of staying in the land, sowing into the land. Sowing into our nations in a time of “famine” will bring a 100-fold increase. This is God’s means of rapid wealth transfer from the wicked (even those within the church) to the righteous. God owns it all, and, although He loves free will, He is intervening in history in this time to give great advantage to the Gospel to reach the hearts of people globally.

After five years, toward the end of President Trump’s second term is when I believe ISIS and the caliphate will disintegrate from within. Tensions between the east and the west will dissolve. Israel will experience a time of peace and prosperity similar to the time after the second world war. Many lands stolen from Israel will be restored. They will live in peace and safety without need of walls and enjoying the favor of everybody (Ezekiel 38:11). Although I have focused on my own country, Israel is the political center of this move of God. Now is a good time to review the Old Testament prophecies of Daniel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, and others to understand what is happening. The end is not yet, but God is setting the stage for it, perhaps many generations in the future. How long this time of peace lasts depends entirely on how well the church will steward it.

There is so much more for me to write. But even now as I sit here I wonder, am I just elaborating a pretty story from my own mind? I did not release this vision publicly for nearly two months, but now I feel it is needed. The failure of the impeachment process and the political fallout that is just beginning encouraged me that at least some of what I understood from the vision is accurate. If I have heard from God, April will be the first test. The next election will be the second. Worldwide conflict and economic panic will be another. And peace in the Middle East will be an absolute miracle.

Regardless of what happens, church, let’s not be so quick to accept the hard times, panics, and disasters of the world as our own. We are children of promise! Our covenant is with God, and though our obedience is not perfect, His character is. All He asks for is faith. Are we prepared to offer it, even when everybody around us is sure the sky is falling? Are we prepared to go contrary to the wisdom of the world? I am new to revelation on this level, but since receiving it I have found many prophets whom I follow who have confirmed parts of this word, so I hope I have interpreted what I saw accurately. It is a really encouraging word for the church, because God is on the move in history, and He is more than capable of bringing His will to pass on the earth. To God be the glory!
